My name is Jacey Heuer and I am a Data Scientist with many years of experience in the financial services, energy and retail industries. I hold a Masters of Business Administration and Masters of Business Analytics from Iowa State University. I also hold an undergrad degree in Business Administration and Finance. In data science, my areas of focus include machine learning, time series analysis, statistical inference and data translation. Data translation helps the decision makers in a business to understand the degree of impact that data science outputs will have on their business. A couple of my recent projects include the application of time series techniques to the automation of forecasting energy usage across customers and the use machine learning methods to predict the impact promotional activities have on the individual sales of thousands of items.
