    Description

This class is created for anyone who wants to explore their modeling skills in the line of Woodwork and furniture designs with the use of Maxon Cinema 4D. The course is not limited to Cinema 4D users alone as the techniques covered in this course are the same for other 3D applications, like 3ds Max, Blender, or Maya.

Woodwork and furniture designs are widely required in every significant field now. NFTs and Decentralands make do with assets in their space, so there is a need for designers in that niche. Furniture designs are also sold all over the 3D market spaces, which could be another source of income for the designer.

In this class, you will be learning quite a number of techniques as listed below:

    • Modeling with polygon manipulation

    • Modeling using Deformers

    • UVW Unwrapping

    • Understanding Camera settings

    • How to have the light rig for the shot

    • Hair systems to add details to the furniture

    • Material and texturing using Maps

    • Render settings

    • Compositing with Photoshop

It is going to be an interesting class as it is designed for both beginner and intermediate-level designers.

    NOTE

All that is required to follow along in this class is Cinema 4D software and the Corona renderer plugin. As I said above, designers from other software packages can follow along as other rendering engines can also be used too. The technique is all you need to understand and you will do wonders in whatever software you use or whichever render engine you have.

    Thanks and let's get started!

I started off my career as a CAD designer and Instructor with Riverbank Technologies and Engineering Services Limited. I moved through different departments; starting as a CAD draft technician, I was moved to the Architectural department, and from there to the M&E department where I specialized in the Electrical and plumbing aspects. From there, I was moved into the IT department and later moved to the Interior Design department, where my transition journey started.Interior design exposed me to some design principles which lead me to do personal research that pointed me in the direction of starting my graphics design career. After taking some courses, I moved on to learn 3D Motion graphics designs, which prompted me to create a brand called JOULECONCEPTS. This brand started with a YouTube channel for teaching young 3D artists the use of 3D tools in a simple way.I later started designing app interfaces, without knowing what it was called. I left that field due to demands from the new position I was promoted to at my place of work, as the Design team leads. I oversee my teams' designs, supervising them, and ensuring designs are in sync with requirements and standards. The leadership role has helped me improve my communication skills, furthermore helping me build empathy in the way I relate with stakeholders.I later went back to learning user experience thoroughly when the need to know it came, as there were requests from my freelance career to solving website and mobile app challenges. I took a professional course and I have done a lot of projects with clients; at home and abroad. I recently interned with a Scottish-based firm called UJALI, where I completely changed the face of their official website, of course with the help of their research team. Due to their satisfaction with my job expertise, I was asked to help with a project which would be launched soon. When I am off official duty, I love playing with kids and going out to cinemas. I love music and playing video games too.My personal statement is definitely,"Learning is continuous. It actually is LIFE. I believe to grow, one needs to be enthusiastic about learning.Hunger for more!"Thanks and Regards
