  • Description

Implementing Windows is more than just performing an installation and making a few configuration changes after the fact. If you’re an IT professional responsible for implementing Windows 11 in your organization, you need to prepare your environment for Windows, select the most appropriate type of installation, configure and manage devices and device drivers, and perform a number of post-installation tasks. Instructor Joli Ballew shows you how to do all this and more in this course, providing you with an understanding of Windows 11 requirements and how to choose the Windows 11 edition that best suits your needs. She covers each step of installation, troubleshooting, and post-installation tasks like configuring notification settings, managing Bluetooth devices and settings, and how to use provisioning packages to configure Windows 11 for corporate use.

I am a prolific, technical, best-selling author of almost 60 books. I was a Microsoft MVP (10 years), Microsoft Certified Trainer (Alumni), technical editor, and technology trainer. I have earned quite a few Microsoft certifications including MCSE, MCTS (Windows 7 and Project 2007), and MCDST. I recently passed the first of two exams to become an MCSA in Windows 8. In addition to writing, I teach computer classes at Collin College in Plano, Texas, Microsoft certification classes at Brookhaven College in Farmers Branch, Texas, and I serve as the Microsoft IT Academy Coordinator there. I stay busy, but when I have down time I enjoy working out at the gym, taking care of my pets, and taking yoga classes. I am a Registered Yoga Teacher (200-Hr). I sometimes teach yoga at senior centers and assisted living facilities. I want to teach others how to find their own path to peace and happiness - the way I have found my own way this past year.
