    Description

"Understanding Nondestructive Testing and Evaluation, NDT/NDE", the newest course from Manufacturing Academy instructor, Garry Pace. Garry is a licensed professional engineer and metallurgist with 25+ years of hands-on experience in the fields of welding, metallurgy and inspection technologies.

In this course, you will learn not only the high-level principles of non-destructive testing but also process-level details of how these technologies works and why you may want to use them.

In this course, you will learn:

    • The overarching principles of NDT/NDE

    • What types of defects are good candidates for NDT, and which ones are not

    • How to choose the correct NDT technology

    • The equipment, process and techniques of the five major processes: Visual Testing, Magnetic Particle Inspections, Eddy Current Testing, Ultrasonic Testing, and Radiography.

    • A "mini dive" into each of the 5 major processes including the physics, practices, and methods behind each.

By the end of this course, you will have a very good understanding of NDT/NDE and its major processes. And you will have the foundation of knowledge needed to take the next step into implementing specific NDT technologies.

This is an overview class with enough detail (nearly 4 hours of video) to serve two audiences:

    1. Quality, process or manufacturing engineers and managers that need to expand their understanding of NDT perhaps to meet a customer requirement or to expand their organization's capabilities in NDT,

    2. Quality technicians and aspiring NDT technicians who want to make a career move into the field of NDT/NDE, and need the foundational knowledge to move in that direction.

This course, "Understanding Nondestructive Testing and Evaluation, NDT/NDE", will give you:

    1. a broad base of technical knowledge,

    2. taught by a "hands-on" expert in the field,

    3. at a remarkably affordable price.

If that sounds like what you need, then sign up today to start acquiring the skills you need!

    Who this course is for:

    • Quality engineers, Quality technicians, Quality managers
    • Lab technicians, Lab managers
    • Aspiring NDT technicians
    • Manufacturing engineers, Mechanical engineers, Industrial engineers
    • Manufacturing professionals
