Shown in Logic Pro X, but applicable to any DAW, Fabio begins by welcoming you and then gets right to it, showing how to choose the right samples for the job, and lay out a solid pulse using a hi-hat sequence. Then it's all about the drum production, where you'll learn to choose the right kit pieces and program them, while adding more as you go along, creating an exciting, infectious drum part.

Synth instruments are next, and Fabio reveals how to choose notes that are in the right key so they all work together to create an interesting melody, and then make a thick pad sound that offers a solid foundation to put your other elements on top of. You'll then see how to create a fat 808 bass part, and sample your own sounds to create a custom synth.

Vocals are next, and Fabio reveals how to program and effect them for that now classic Trap sound and feel. This is the first walkthrough from groove3 i've watched on specific genre's, and i must say it's by far the best. Step by step for the different parts of a song and very well explained. The whole "pile everything at once, mix it, and then arrange it" workflow is FANTASTIC. Makes it so much easier than trying to figure out parts as you go. I used to be a music teacher and I can honestly say that this is a very good lesson! I've also been a pro DJ and producer for 21 years now. The presentation (video quality, editing, music quality, and quality of his voice) was top notch. Everything is clear in HD and I did not have any technical problems, but I'd like to see the Groove3 mobile app more accessible and working better so I don't have rely on a web browser to access your awesome videos. The ease of use (returning to my last watch point, clearly stated goals, clear titles on the videos [and vid descriptions], what was coming up in the next lesson, text descriptions, many examples of the concept being taught, etc.) were all very helpful and let me learn instead of focusing on unrelated extranious stuff. Based on my experience from the video, the teacher (Fabio?) seems VERY knowledable on music production and music in general. He elaborated often and gave extra examples when the material was harder to understand and he was extremely thorough. This might test some people's patience, but he did it in a way that kept it interesting- so get some Zen in your life and breathe. ;-) Bravo on this episode! I would like to see a lot more of these, so *PLEASE KEEP THEM COMING* and I will stay subscribed. Groove3: I hope that you're still reading! You have a very good thing going here and I will stay subscribed (and spread the word), but I don't see the amount of material that I think you're capable of. Please, oh please get more tutorials on the production process (especially in Logic Pro X ;-)) just like this one. Thank you so much because this is where I've been learning so much. This is what I am meant to watch and I'll cancel my *website removed* sub if you guys keep this type of stuff coming. Thank you!
