After a brief introduction, Timothy demonstrates how to create single and multiple cycle synths from your existing sample collection, followed by extreme warping techniques, showing you how to make complex sounding textures with Ableton Live’s Warp engine.

After that, Timothy reveals how to use multiple instances of the Max4Live LFO to generate randomized effects, as well as how to create a complex, single knob macro to map any devices you want, for creative control.

Moving on, Tim shows you how to go crazy with the ability to unlink clip envelopes and run each in their own timeline.

These are some simple yet powerful concepts for humanising your dance music productions. Timothy Allen is engaging, informative and straight to the point. In comparison to some instructional videos I've watched I've probably picked up more useful information from this short series than some five times as long. In a word, brilliant.

Interesting, good, yet somewhat "offbeat" techniques that can inspire creativity in your music making process. Specific to Ableton Live, with some techniques requires Suite and/or Max for Live, this rather short series of videos gets directly to the point. Overall, it was a good watch with takeaways of things to try.
