    Description

Harmony is professional software for creating 2D animations for films. But you can also create regular video's with it and publish them wherever you like. For those who have no big budget, but want to learn the basics of Harmony, there is Harmony Essentials. This program is a lot cheaper than the Advanced or the Pro version, but it lets you do lots of cool stuff. Especially in conjunction with some other free or inexpensive software.
So this course will not only cover Harmony, but some other programs as well. All to give you more freedom of choice.

If you are a good at drawing, why would you not enhance your skills and breathe life into your artwork? Animations are far more vivid than stills!

This course will help you getting started with Harmony Essentials. It will explain the tools. It will also explain animation and adding effects to your drawings. Those effects can be animated as well.

Bonus: I will learn you a trick how to get 4K video out of Harmony Essentials with the use of external software.

Bonus: I will learn you a trick how to create 3D animations out of 2D animations (create 3D models from 2D image sequences) with the use of free software

Bonus: An update to the existing Harmony Game SDK asset, found on the Unity Asset store. With a short video on how to use it. The default Harmony SDK Asset is obsolete. This file will let you use some of the original functionality (not everything).

Bonus: I will discuss several apps available on Android and iOS tablets, that can be used in conjunction with Harmony Essentials or Advanced, for desk free drawing!

    Instructor's Courses
Hi, my name is Daniel. I am a physician but also a true allrounder. I made my first 3d model when I was just 12 and created my first simple 3d game at the age of 13! In the following 20 years I worked with plenty 3d and 2d software and game engines. The past 10 years I worked as a freelancer and made 3d artwork for universities, other game designers and companies using Modo. I am a self learner, using online video course websites like Udemy. I also am a composer and sound designer. See my big course on synthesizers (Serum, Harmor, Synthmaster) and become one yourself! Finally I also do a lot of illustration work. My favourite software for vector artwork is Affinity Designer. Check out my course!
Students take courses primarily to improve job-related skills. Some courses generate credit toward technical certification. Udemy has made a special effort to attract corporate trainers seeking to create coursework for employees of their company.
