    Description

I've been running backing tracks on live gigs for years in pretty much all the different ways you can think to do so. From phones, iPads, QLab, MainStage, all the way through to full Ableton rigs.

With all of that information, I've compiled it into this Ableton backing track course, taking you through which version to buy, how to import audio, all the way through to MIDI control, sample automation and the hardware needed to run all the tracks live.

You can combine this with my other course on MainStage backing track rigs to start to have a huge vocabulary of backing tracks, too! Any occasion, and you'll be able to sort the backing tracks.

This is an incredibly dense subject and by no means is this everything (which is SO exciting!). Ableton projects are individual to you and how you use them, so please take all of this information and apply it to your own projects. When I first started with Ableton, it was terrifying and daunting. But, once you make that first step and see things work, it's really addictive! Make sure to search further and improve your Ableton rigs as much as possible with experimentation and if I can help, please send me a message!

I look forwards to building an Ableton backing track rig with you!

I'm Harry, and this is Drum Electric.I'm a drummer who loves tech, so I combined the two! I run a YouTube channel called "Drum Electric" that looks at teaching how to combine drums and electronics. That's everything from triggers, sample pads, Ableton, backing tracks, and everything in-between.My goal is to create detailed and easy to follow tutorials. Feel free to join me, and I look forwards to seeing you there.
Students take courses primarily to improve job-related skills. Some courses generate credit toward technical certification. Udemy has made a special effort to attract corporate trainers seeking to create coursework for employees of their company.
