  • Description

Data is the substance to all reports in Reporting Services (SSRS). From configuring Data Sources to options in Data Sets, this course provides the ins and outs of data in SSRS. Many common data sources are demonstrated throughout this course.

    What You'll Learn?

SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) is the gold standard for reporting data. In this course, SQL Server Reporting Services 2014: Data Sourcing Playbook, you will learn about how the data source is the foundation of creating reports with SQL Server Reporting Services. First, you will explore embedded and shared data sources, and data sets to populate report objects. Next, you will learn about non-database data sources such as csv and xml. Finally, you will discover how to source data from Azure and Analysis Services, and how to use custom expressions in data sources and sets. By the end of this course, you'll know where to go to create data sources and data sets in reporting services.
