    Description

    Spark your Creativity and Imagination

Wouldn’t it be wonderful to always have plenty of new ideas bubbling up on the inside of you? Wouldn’t it be wonderful to never run out of creative gas? Wouldn’t it be amazing if you could be in charge of the flow of your creative juices?

Guess what – that actually is within your reach! You can train yourself to make that happen. You do not need to be a victim of creative blocks. You have the ability to break out of those. Or even better, you can prevent them from happening.

My name is Benjamin Aeilkema and I’m an illustrator and Artist from The Netherlands. I love creating Artworks with all kinds of materials. Besides creating art, I also love teaching art skills and helping others develop and grow in their art journey. Over the years, I’ve often come across people who face these common problems:

“I’m simply just not a creative person and totally lack artistic experience. But I would like for that to change. Is there a way to make this happen?”

“I enjoy creating art, but every now and then, I just bump into this creative block and get stuck in it for a while. I wish there was a way to come out of this frustrating mode quicker and just get going again.”

In my own artistic journey I’ve come across several methods which have proven to be helpful in sparking creativity and imagination and to get those creative juices flowing (again). Of course I just had to tweak and adapt them here and there to my own liking, seeing them bear even more fruit in people’s creative journey.

This course is all about developing your creative eye, your imagination, for you to see images come alive on the inside of you. The exercises I created for you will get your creative juices flowing and keep them going!

We’ll be working with Random Lines & Scribbles, Random Words, Animals & Creatures, Books, Poems and Photos. Next to that we’ll look at changing your routine and more. On top of that I will be sharing some extra thoughts and tips on how to get ‘unblocked’ when you’re stuck. Every session ends with a project to challenge you to go even further with your creativity. You will be surprised at what comes out of your hands!

So if you want to spark your Creativity and Imagination, dive into this course that will get your creative juices flowing for sure.

My name is Benjamin Aeilkema (Art by Benjamin) and I’m an illustrator, artist and art teacher from The Netherlands.I love creating artworks with traditional media and with digital media as well. My favorites are ink, fineliners, watercolor and watercolor pencils, but I am in no way limited to those. My favorite themes are houses, landscapes and animals, but I like other themes like fantasy and sci-fi and many others as well.My artworks are often fun, sometimes serious or with a deeper meaning. My love for God is often also expressed in and through art.For many years I’ve enjoyed creating art, learning many skills and techniques along the way. I often have a personal way of applying these techniques to my artworks.I love to share my knowledge, helping others to start their journey in art or getting a bit further along the way. While theory in itself is very useful, I always aim at making the theory practical, so that others can apply it in their works. Now the time has come to share my personal and often unique insight into art with others through Art Classes. For that purpose, I’m combining my experience as a high school and college teacher with my love for art.
