Next spacial effects are explored and you'll see how to use Echoboy, Echoboy Jr., Little Plate, Little Microshift, and Primal Tap to add deepness and width to your sounds. Rhythmic effects are next, and Larry reveals ways to use Tremolator, Panman and Rhythm Step to create movement that prop[ells your tracks forward with a cool groove.

Designing interesting Filtering and Phasing effects is then shown, and you'll see how by using FilterFreak, PhaseMistress, on drums, vocals, chords, effect returns and more! Last but not least, Larry reveals ways to get experimental with Soundtoys, such as how to turn an acoustic guitar part into a washed out blissful soundscape using an effects rack consisting of Crystallizer, Echoboy and Microshift and more.

Well, while it might be little bit useful information ti total newbies and beginners, I find this course poor quality, horrible bad mixed audio examples,, where any processing only audible in solo. Soundoys website has way more advanced mixing techniques from differenr artists on they website for free, also Mitch Thomas is fun to watch. The only benefit is, that is was cheap, but not worth it.

Want to know what soundtoys plugins can add to your music? This is the best series of videos I have seen. Really enjoyed this!

Larry delivers another great course. The Soundtoys collection is fabulous and Larry shows succinctly how they can be used to great effect. Having now done a number of Larry's videos, I do chuckle when he asks you to close your eyes and REALLY focus when A/Bing: I must confess that I can't always hear the difference. One thing which I found frustrating, and this has nothing to do with Larry, is the fact that Groove3, unlike some other platforms, doesn't provide a channel for asking questions. In this series in particular, I noticed Larry regularly using quite a lot of Dry signal on a send and return aux, even on the final plug-in in the aux chain. It would be great to be able to ask why such decisions are made. Anyway, enough of the tangent. Thanks once again, Larry. You helped me get to grips with Logic itself and its suite of stock plug-ins, and now you're helping me as I venture out into the financial abyss of 3rd party ones.

Also great to see someone else using plugins that I work with, maybe they do something I didn't know I could do with it.

You ask me what did I think of the coarse. I love it. I knew, how to mix, but this brought it home for me. I think mine' sound better than yours. That' only because of your help. THANK YOU!!. I think I am really ready now. I know how to tighten of the bass , snare and kick drums, meld them in. I know how to use the decapitator and most important, WHY? I know how put them instruments insync with each other. I think that works well on ballads, not so much with heavy rock on snares, though. Thanks SO much for helping me. I think I am ready now. DO YOU HAVE ANY MORE.? I will take any lesson you guys have on sound toy. You made me smarter!

I'm producing album for the band I play in. Definitely will use some of these techniques for sound design.
