  • Description

Despite statistics being used more widely than ever and in increasingly diverse fields, many people still see statistics as a scary or confusing topic. In this course, Chris Nodder looks to take some of the mystery out of statistics by using real-world examples that show how you can apply data to your own work and user experience design projects. Chris starts with explaining that not every situation needs or benefits from statistics at all. He llustrates when stats and data are actually useful. Then, he dives into key topics like why statistics are important for design projects; how to ask the right questions in order to get targeted results; the types of data you'll want to collect, and methods for doing so; how to analyze the data you've gathered and process it; and how to report the results in a meaningful way and continue the process forward.
