Scientometrics is a field of study related to measuring and analysing scientific literature.
It is a quantitative method of research on the development of science as an informational process.
The purpose of Scientometrics Analysis is to map and visualise scientific fields. It is to measure and evaluate research performance.
Many software can be used to analyse research data, including VOSviewer.
VOSviewer is a software tool to create maps based on network data and for visualizing and exploring these maps.
This course is prepared for researchers to assist them during the review of the literature.
It should assist researchers to analyse, map and visualise literature related to their research discipline.
Examples are given at the end of this course on how to use VOSviewer to understand the dynamic development of a discipline.
