    Dr. Hu has actively worked with the research community and industry on the key R&D activities on the Internet of Things (IoT) and telecommunications. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and the Associate Editor of the IEEE Canadian Journal of Electrical and Computer Engineering and served on the organizing and technical boards/committees of prestigious industry consortia and conferences. He is also a licensed professional engineer (P.Eng.) in Canada with over 17 years of multi-faceted experience in IoT, wireless networks, computer and embedded systems R&D and teaching.
