In this course we will see the minimum prerequisites to install SAP ASE on the Linux platform in an easy and fun way, as we will take you step by step through the installation process, emphasizing those topics that are relevant. We will show you the concepts that must be taken into account to configure SAP ASE when it has just been installed from the available resources of the machine that will contain it. Although we know that the ideal is to configure SAP ASE based on the behavior statistics of the system once it has been put into production, this will not be possible if we do not have these statistics, so it is very practical to start with a configuration point that uses machine resources appropriately. Since tuning is an art, it is highly likely that adjustments will need to be made as the system matures. This enjoyable course was designed with two promises.
