Are you comfortable with Linux? This is the start of your journey to the next step, the certificate "RHCSA for Red Hat OpenStack" (Red Hat's exam EX210). You will discover an OpenStack cloud, launch virtual servers and create multi-tier networks.

What You'll Learn?

You are comfortable managing Linux systems. You want to go beyond system management, are curious about cloud technologies and contemplate taking the exam for Red Hat's OpenStack certificate.

In this course, RHCSA for Red Hat OpenStack: Using OpenStack (Compute and Network Services), you will gain the ability to use an OpenStack cloud as an unprivileged user.

First, you will learn the OpenStack architecture. Next, you will discover setting up a small experimental cloud on your PC. Finally, you will explore how to create networks and launch virtual servers in your experimental cloud.

When you’re finished with this course, you will have the skills and knowledge of working with an OpenStack cloud, needed to successfully pass the RHCSA for Red Hat OpenStack exam.

It was in 1982, when it was still the domain of geeks and tinkerers, that Bernd encountered UNIX for the first time. It was love on first sight, for both. Not surprisingly, a few years later his professional life also started with UNIX, in technical support, then in consulting and training. After spending over a decade managing training programs of technical and non-technical nature, he returned to his old love. Since 2013, he has been a technical instructor and designer of training courses in Linux, later OpenStack. After a steep learning curve with a lot of help from the OpenStack community, Bernd decided to give back by getting involved in the OpenStack documentation project. Today, he is mostly active on the OpenStack Q&A site, ask.openstack.org, but also tries (with varying success) to keep his Github repository under the handle of berndbausch in an acceptable shape. When not working on his beloved computers, Bernd raises three teenagers in Japan and explores the mountains in and around Tokyo.
