    Description

Revit is BIM software widely used by architects, engineers, and contractors to create a unified model that all disciplines and trades can use to complete their work. Autodesk Revit was created to support BIM and not to replace BIM.

Save your time by using revit for your school projects and use the time  to think more design ideas.

Here in this course we are going to learn about,

    1. User Interface: Familiarize yourself with the user interface, including the ribbon, project browser, properties palette, and view windows.

    2. Families: In Revit, elements are created using families. Families are hierarchical, with different types and instances. Learn about the different types of families: component families (like walls, doors, windows) and system families (like levels, grids, and reference planes).

    3. Project Setup: Begin by setting up your project. Define the project location, units, levels, grids, and other project settings.

    4. Modeling: Start modeling by creating building elements such as walls, floors, roofs, doors, and windows. Use the tools provided to draw and modify these elements accurately.

    5. Views: Understand different types of views such as floor plans, elevations, sections, and 3D views. Learn how to create and manipulate views to visualize your design from different perspectives.

    6. Constraints: Utilize constraints to ensure accuracy and consistency in your design. Constraints include dimensions, alignments, and constraints between elements.

    7. Parameters: Parameters control the behavior and appearance of elements in Revit. Learn how to work with parameters to customize your designs and create dynamic models.

    8. Annotation: Add annotation elements such as dimensions, text, and symbols to your model to communicate design intent and information.

    9. Schedules: Create schedules to organize and quantify information about your building elements. Schedules can display data such as materials, quantities, and properties of elements in your model.

    Instructor's Courses
Hi everyone I am a new instructor, don't worry we all can learn together, I have completed my Diploma in Architecture Technology which is three year's course at BCA Academy in Singapore and I am used to architectural software like Revit (Architecture), AutoCAD (2D plans), SketchUp and basics in Photoshop.
Students take courses primarily to improve job-related skills. Some courses generate credit toward technical certification. Udemy has made a special effort to attract corporate trainers seeking to create coursework for employees of their company.
