Description
Unleash your potential and have confidence when presenting to senior management or executives.
It doesn't matter if you need to present your ideas, your recommendations, information or risks; presenting to a senior executive is an important milestone in your career.
You might be pitching your work or services to a prospective client, or maybe you work inside a company and need to present to your boss or even the board.
Whatever the reason, presenting to senior management & executives can be scary. There is both career risk AND opportunity in getting this right or wrong.
In this class, I will start by teaching you the basics of a practical approach to planning, building, and delivering your presentation to senior management.
By the end of this class, you’ll be able to build and deliver a strong presentation with confidence. It can take years to discover these methods and you’ll learn them all in this class.
Whether you want to advance your career or grow your freelance business, the ability to communicate in a way that is persuasive, memorable, and effective will be a lifelong skill that reaps huge benefits.
This class will be valuable for both total beginners and people who already have some public speaking experience. It also caters to both people who are working inside medium to large organizations and those who are independent freelancers.
WHAT YOU’LL LEARN
- How to project confidence and virtual or in-room presence
- Understand the DNA of a senior leader. What are they thinking when you present to them? What are they looking for?
- Understand how senior executives make decisions. What are they looking for? How to map your pitch to that?
- The three things senior leadership care about the most and the three anchor slides you must have in your deck
- How to approach the meeting itself - how long should you talk for? how much content should you have?
- What the typical questions you should expect, how to translate their meaning and how to handle them
- How to handle communicating requests for approval
- How to handle communicating status reports on a project
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
You will require a laptop or desktop computer with some kind of presentation software on it. I recommend Prezi but you can also use PowerPoint, Keynote, Google Slides etc. You will also need some plain A4 paper and pens to outline your presentation.

I’m excited to see how you improve your public speaking and confidence in this journey. I hope you can join me — see you in class!
