I hope to become an empowering woman in the field of Analytics and to encourage other women to pursue careers in Math and Analytics. I strive to have a voice in the industry, combat stereotypes, and share my passion for Math and data with others! After studying Math, Business, and Spanish at Berry College, I didn't know how to apply my passion for Math in the real world, so this led me to pursue my MS in Business Analytics at UGA. Now, I have found my love for the data world where I get to use my passion for logic, critical thinking, and coding everyday! Not only does my unique Math background bring a lot to my career, but learning Spanish and teaching English as a Second Language has equipped me with the skills to communicate in difficult situations. Because of this, I thoroughly enjoy telling stories with data and equipping the end user with the necessary knowledge to make business decisions. My side passion is speaking Spanish and embracing the Latino community through teaching English as a Second Language and traveling. I currently volunteer as a part time English teacher to teach local Latinos of Athens, GA. I also volunteer as a data analyst and as youth lacrosse coach through various organizations. I love to volunteer and give back to the community! Skills: SQL, Power BI, Python, DAX, Power BI Robots (RPA software), R, Tableau, HubSpot, GitHub, SPSS, Rapidminer, Rattle, Data Cleaning & Transformation, Data Wrangling, Data Dictionary development, Dashboard Creation, Process Documentation.
