    Description

Demand Planning is vital and it ensures the ability to improve inventory management, increase customer satisfaction, optimize production planning, improve business strategy, and set and meet commitments. A good Demand Plan affects the entire organization, and in this course, I will walk you through the following objectives:

    • Learn how to assess demand forecast and accuracy

    • Create visuals that support root cause corrective action

    • Incorporate RCCA into your Demand Management rituals

    • Understand the four metrics that when taken together give your organization a complete picture of forecast accuracy

In addition, we will build on the information from Courses 1, 2, and 3 and further our knowledge and expertise in Demand Planning. We will look at forecast accuracy metrics and understand the four metrics that when taken together give your organization a complete picture of forecast accuracy. We will introduce the concept of lag, why it matters, and how to choose the proper lag for your metrics calculations. Then, we will combine the four metrics and lag to create visuals that tell a story that you can share with your organization. Finally, we will cover Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and learn how to apply it to Demand Management along with the five whys tool.

No matter your position or role, understanding Demand is beneficial to the business. This course will set you apart and prepare you to make the decisions you need to drive success and continuous improvement. I am so excited to share with you my knowledge of Demand Management, and I hope you find it as interesting and rewarding as I do.
