From sightseeing to glacier walks, there are a wide range of activities you can experience while on your arctic exploration.
When you are in the arctic circle there are extra precautions you need to take to protect yourself and your gear.
Due to being so far north, when you are within the arctic circle the amount of daylight varies greatly throughout the year. This presents challenges and opportunities.
Photographing snowy landscapes presents a number of challenges to nail the shots.
You may also experience locations where there is no snow, but you want to get the feel of the cold winter.
It all depends on where you are, but you can expect to photograph wildlife on your journey.
From rivers to lakes and waterfalls, there are a variety of water features that are both beautiful and dangerous.
Learn about what the northern lights are so that you are better prepared to find them.
After checking the aurora forecast, gear up, and head out to take your chances with the night sky.
