About Patent ResearchLearn More

What is a patent? According to the definition of the World Intellectual Property Organization, a patent is an exclusive right granted to the inventor or his legal representative for the invention. In other words, a patent is a document that describes an invention and is issued based on the applicant's request by a government office or by a regional office on behalf of several countries, and it provides legal protection and the right to exploit (production, use, sale and export) an invention. It is granted to its owner within a certain time limit (usually 20 years). It should be noted that a patent is not a license to produce an invented product, but only prevents others from producing it.
