  • Description

Your brain processes a ton of information each day, and in order to avoid maxing out your cognitive load, it has to take shortcuts in order to process all of this information. One of the most common shortcuts is using cognitive bias, which is a damaging pattern that hinders your ability to think rationally and make effective decisions. In this course, executive coach and clinical psychologist Dr. Alessandra Wall details ten common cognitive biases. These include confirmation bias, hindsight bias, authority bias, availability bias, and others. Being aware of these biases, and learning how to effectively manage them, can have many practical implications in various areas of your life. These include smarter entrepreneurship, improved relationships, better decision-making in finances, and more accurate judgment overall. Once you understand these cognitive biases, you can mitigate and overcome them.
