Are you looking to expand your character design or fantasy art drawing skills? In this class, you’ll create an inventory of magical items and accessories and learn how to draw objects in a cartoon style. From a witch’s hat to magical potions to a staff, this fun illustration project will help you accessorize your future character designs exploring fantasy themes. By the end of this course, you’ll have drawn and coloured over ten different magical items, including glowing gems and elixirs in glass vials!
This is the perfect course to take before or along with our Magical Character Design Course, since you’ll use one of the items as a reference and starting point to design a fantasy character!
By the end of this course, you will know how to:
- Draw over 10 magical items
- Shade different objects
- Add enhancing details like glows and texture
- Create a balanced composition
- Differentiate warm and cool tones
Materials:
- My demo is drawn digitally using Medibang Paint Pro, but you may use any medium!
- If you're working traditionally, I recommend pencil, fineliner and coloured pencils
