This course will take an in depth look at each of the four topics within National 5 Computing Science of Software Design and Development, Database Design and Development, Website Design and Development and Computer Systems. This course will enhance your skills and knowledge at each of these 4 topics for National 5 level, and provides examples of software development, database implementation and website development, as well as a breakdown of computer strucutre. Although this course is mainly aimed at National 5 level Computing Science students, it is also fit for anyone looking for a deeper understanding of software development, how to create a website, how databases work and how to implement them, and also general computer structure and how computers work in terms of processes and operations. This course will look at software development using the programming language of Python, will look at database development using phpMyAdmin database administration tool, and will look at website design and development using Visual Studio code, all of which can be downloaded online to be able to implement areas within each of the topics and try the examples out for yourself. This course can be used as a study and revision tool for anyone working towards a qualification in National 5 Computing Science.
