The Moodle Themes course has been designed so that you can download, install and configure 5 different Moodle Themes, and customise each theme to make Moodle look stylish, professional and include branding such as Logos and colors.
The course begins with the installation of a local copy of Moodle, which can be used throughout your learning to test and implement the things you learn.
I will discuss how to download, install and configure Moodle Themes on to your local version of Moodle, as well as showing learners how to uninstall themes and discuss the various dangers of installing themes on a live environment.
The course then moves on to the Moove Theme section, where I wil show learners how to install and configure the Moove Theme, how to add logos, change site menu colours, as well as looking at the slider and the homepage settings.
Next up, the Almondb Theme is investigated, and I will show you how to download and install the theme and configure the homepage with the multitude of blocks and settings available.Â The Almondb theme is one of the most complex themes looked at in the course, and ill also show learners how to setup a slider, header and footer settings and site wide colour and logo settings.
The LearnR Theme is up next, and after downloading and installing the plugin, ill show learners the miriad of configuration and setup options to personalise this amazing theme to your branding requirements.
The Boosted Theme, a theme based upon the Moodle core Boost Theme, is looked at in the next section.Â The boost theme will be downloaded, installed and configured and IÂ will show you the various options.
The 5th theme the course will look at is the Academi Theme.Â AÂ highly powerful theme, ill show learners how to configure the theme to your personalised settings, as well as downloading and installing it from Moodle.
Enhancing Exisiting Moodle Themes is the name of the final section, and the lessons here will look at the core Moodle themes - Boost and Classic.
Ill show learners how to configure both Boost and Classic, and add logos, colours and various homepage settings.Â I will also teach learners how to change the site wide appearance settings and configure calendar, logo and brand colour settings.
The course also includes 6 multiple choice quizzes and 6 learning activities, where learners are encouraged to implement the installation configuration and use of Moodle Themes learnt in the lessons.Â
