Description
MikroTik is very popular among home router users. However, not every user knows how to correctly configure parameters to extend wi-fi coverage. In this video, 3 possible solutions are shown:
â€¢Using CAPsMAN
â€¢Using repeater
â€¢Using mesh network
MikroTik has built in capability to offload processing power from CPU. In this course it is shown how to offload IPTV traffic to integrated switch chip.
The Dude is graphical friendly tool to monitor MikroTik devices. In this course it is shown how to connect MikroTik devices to The Dude server.
Site to Site GRE tunnel over IPsec is commonly used VPN solution to connect remote network.
Upon completion of this training course, the attendees will be able to:
-Have better understanding of how to configure MikroTik routers for wireless network coverage extension
-Have understanding how Mikrotik integrated switch chip offloads traffic from central processing unit CPU
-Learn how connect routers to The Dude software and how to do routerâ€™s software upgrade from there
