Then you'll learn about integrating reference tracks within Ozone 10, using Match EQ and the Assistant to help bring your tracks closer to the sound you're wanting. Learn about rebalancing and low-end separation with Master Rebalance and Low End Focus, respectively, to create a better pre-master and transparently fix mix issues that managed to find their way into the mastering process.

Next, Larry examines transients using a kick drum and bass part as an example, demonstrating how Low End Focus can be used to ensure the low end breathes well. Also learn how to tame a pre-master with excessive transients using the Impact module.

Over the remainder of the course, you'll also learn about taming harshness and improving tonal balance with Spectral Shaper and Stabilizer. Then follow along with Larry as he takes you step-by-step through the process of mastering three example tracks in different styles: pop, dance, and country!
