    Welcome to this course on How to Become an Effective Communicator. This course is structured into 10 modules, each covering different aspects of effective communication that you can apply to your own situation. These are skills that anyone can develop; you are not born with them.

    What will you learn in this course?

    In this course, you will learn my philosophy of communication, which is that communication is not just about the fluency of our language or grammar, while those are important, what matters, even more, are result-oriented actions that are made more powerful with words. Your words should support and reinforce your actions, which speak louder than words.

    You will discover what really works in practice to make people listen to you – that's effective communication: clear actions backed by powerful words.

    You will also understand how any communication should be structured such that it creates the right effect on the other person.

    You will realize that effective communication goes much beyond just fluency of speaking. It is a very different ball game. There are so many components that add up to effective communication.

    Communication is not one time in corporates. It is a continuous process. You will also realize that there are many activities that must be done on a consistent basis prior to the actual communication taking place, for that communication to be effective.
