I am a transformational leader of corporate social responsibility, with nearly 10 years of experience building enterprise success, employee engagement, and brand loyalty through social impact programs. My goal is to create and scale purpose-driven philanthropic campaigns as a mechanism to increase equity and inclusion within technology and education. Professionally, I specialize in driving social impact programs within the tech industry. I started my career with Microsoft as a technical evangelist by teaching developers how to build software and apps on the Microsoft platform. I have since moved into education and corporate social responsibility. I have fallen in love with the mission of the latter, and I enjoy doing this work within the tech industry as it allows me to operate on the cutting edge of innovation. It is fulfilling to see firsthand how philanthropy in technology makes an immediate and lasting impact on the world by increasing access to critical technology products among those most in need. It is a joy to be able to point to service and giving initiatives in the community and know that I’m part of the team that made it happen. It is equally important for me to ensure that meaningful and measurable outcomes result from corporate social responsibility initiatives. As the Program Manager for the Skills for Jobs initiative with Microsoft, I generated a 1,550% increase in the volume of grants that the Philanthropies team processed per quarter. I worked with stakeholders to evaluate grant operations to streamline and simplify how grants were facilitated. I refreshed the process from start to finish and built in mechanisms to create joy and measure impact within the workflow. I loved that I was able to identify a problem, then create a solution to streamline operations and ease burden for stakeholders across the company. My commitment to social impact extends beyond the workplace, and it is truly a core element of my personal identity and sense of purpose. I have been an active volunteer for community service initiatives throughout my life. I am an active volunteer leader for a Girl Scout camp for underserved girls, and I train and raise puppies through Guide Dogs for the Blind. If you would like to connect, please contact me at: [email protected]. Key Skills: Social Impact Leadership, Campaign Management, Vision & Strategy, Community Outreach, Program Management, Cross-Functional Collaboration, Data Visualization & Analysis, Project Management, Leadership Development, Employee Engagement, Team Building, Diversity & Inclusion
