    Description

    Why do we feel the way we do?  Why do we sometimes snap at others in irritation, or feel down when everything in life seems to be fine?  Why is it we don't always know why we're feeling what we're feeling?  The simple answer is that emotions are part of the mind-body complex, and we've been misunderstanding them for hundreds of years primarily because the mind is not a "thing" that can be measured (unlike the brain, which can be measured).  Psychiatrists, psychologists, and neuroscientists can only guess at what happens in your mind, which makes figuring things out difficult!  Making Sense of Your Emotions is a course to learn mindfulness meditation (or advance your current mindfulness practice) and apply it to our latest understanding of what emotions are, why they affect us the way they do, and how to transform difficulty into wisdom, and open yourself up to more happiness.  What makes this program different from most others is the step-by-step process of building your knowledge and your skills with easy-to-understand concepts and user-friendly exercises.
