    This F8 - Audit and Assurance course is designed for Acca students.

    It enhances the basic knowledge of the Audit engagements and clears the concept of elements of such engagements.

    Core areas of the syllabus includes:

    -Audit framework & regulation

    -Planning & risk assessment

    -Internal controls

    -Audit evidence

    -Review & reporting

    In this course you will learn how to accept and carry out external audit for the companies who are now your client and how to apply substantive procedures and detail test of controls upon the provided financial statements.

    You will also learn to differentiate between limited and reasonable assurance. Further it will cover details of corporate governance and who may act as an auditor.

    Secondly, acting as an auditor you will learn to plan the audit accompanied by the clients risk assessment which is core part of carrying external audits.

    Moreover ethics also forms the important area of the syllabus which will help you understand how to act in scenarios where as an auditor your objectivity and other ethical considerations are compromised.

    Lastly, it will take you to the review and reporting stage where you are going to learn to produce audit opinions and how scenarios are going to impact your opinion.

    Finally you will be able to make an audit  report as an Auditor yourself.
