Hello, I'm Smeaf!

I create tutorials online and have been creating as a 3D generalist for over 5 years now.

Having graduated from SAE Institute Brisbane with a Bachelor of Animation & 3D Modeling in 2017, I felt that the education system gave me a rudimentary understanding of basic concepts and software.

However, I didn't feel that I had received the "Bachelor's" level of knowledge I thought I would finish up with.

This is a constant with me, feeling that I need to continuously learn and evolve, and i'm not alone in this mindset.

3D and the VFX industry as a whole are rapidly expanding and developing, so it sometimes feels hard to be up to date with common practices. That's why it is imperative to continuously learn and compound that daily, even if it is just 1%.

Working online and remotely, I have been able to collaborate and create some amazing projects with many established brands!

My goal is to take what I have learned through all of these years of experience and spread this information to as many 3D/VFX artists through online learning platforms.

When I'm not creating, I am teaching on Youtube and Skillshare! I absolutely love sharing knowledge and techniques with people and I believe it is a gift to be a part of this wonderful world of 3D.

The classes available here are aimed at beginners and gradually increase to higher levels of complexity.

I can't wait to start teaching you and to help get your portfolio of works up and running to land that industry job or first freelance gig!
