Shyamkant Anwane

Dr Shyamkant Anwane, Professor and Head, Department of Physics, Shri Shivaji Science College, Nagpur has been involved in teaching and research Physics for the past 25 years. During doctoral research, he was awarded the prestigious Senior Research Fellowship by the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research, New Delhi. He has completed a minor research project funded by University Grants Commission, New Delhi. He has developed Special Relativity using Perplex Numbers. He is nominated on the Board of MAPLE Ambassador for the SAARC region to inspire and educate others about the benefits that Maple brings to STEM Education. He is Project Coordinator for a Career Oriented Course entitled "Mathematical Modeling Using MAPLE", funded by UGC, New Delhi. For this course, he has designed the Syllabus and Schemes of Examination that is approved by the state university. (RTM Nagpur University, Nagpur Maharashtra INDIA.) He is nominated on the Board of Studies of Physics as a member at Bajaj College of Science Wardha - an autonomous college. He has been a key person in hosting many national and international conferences. He has published about 20 research papers in the journals of national and international repute. To reach students at large he developed Android Mobile App "PhysicsPro" available at Google Play Store. His video lectures are available on YouTube channel in his name.
