I started my media career in the 4th grade. My West Indian father told me as an American citizen, it is my duty and responsibility to know what is going on in my country and community. Hello, I am Roshanda Pratt, known online as The Rosho Live. My journalism career continued in high school where my friend encouraged me to become a “reporter” for our campus magazine show. It was our version of Channel One News I attended college and majored in Mass Communications, and in my Senior year, I started my career at my first TV station. I learned the power of storytelling, creating content that connects, camera confidence, and what makes great TV. Livestreaming changed everything. Now people can create their own media network in the palm of their hands. This is where The Rosho Live, a nickname from my many years in television, was born! After 20 years as a TV News and Executive Morning Show Producer I left the world of breaking news, deadlines, and ‘team no sleep’ to support influential women to create and leverage their visibility through local TV media and live video for impact, influence, and income. Throughout my journey, I struggled with imposter syndrome and doubted my abilities. Finally, after doing the inside work, I was able to show up on the outside and conquer these struggles (I can do the same for you). Since then I have used the live video and local media to become an expert in my field, write a #1 Amazon Best Seller, Speak internationally, work with brands like the W.K.
