Robert Gallup

I create at the nexus of people, design, and technology. I’ve worked for startups and corporate empires. I’m a designer and coder who’s studied economics and psychology. I’ve managed game development teams, prototyped intelligent hardware products, and helped design user experiences for a car computer and an online learning platform. I’ve developed online training, presented in corporate classrooms, and led small and large workshops covering microcontroller programming and electronics. On the side, I’ve photographed in Africa, trekked the Himalayas, negotiated auto-rickshaw rides in New Delhi, and been lost on the Shinkansen in Japan. I’ve made musical instruments, performed in a classical Chinese music ensemble, played bagpipes in my basement and improvised with musical electronics and microcontrollers. With a diverse perspective and natural curiosity, I thrive exploring the frontiers of future products and experiences.
