About Instructor

With a doctorate in psychology, over 50 years of experience and two dozen books, Bob Brown has made a substantial contribution to the lives of thousands of people. At age 17, he decided to find out why people did what they did, which he defined as "why do people get out of bed in the morning?" His findings led to his book, Personal Wisdom: Making Sense of You, Others and the Meaning of Life.His career includes clinical psychology, behavioral medicine, sports psychology, teaching, leadership and organizational development, business management consulting, and Lean Thinking leadership. He has taught at the University of California, San Diego, the University of Washington, St. Andrews University in Scotland among others as well as numerous workshops and conferences on three continents. His books include business management, personal growth, golf, and novels.Although now semi-retired, he is passionate about his new effort of creating online learning experiences targeting business leadership and people who want to live meaningful lives. Courses are informal and personal, with solid content, much of it unique to Bob.
