I started in Procurement in 1992 working my way from the bottom up. I decided to study CIPS in 2001 after finding it hard to move up to management roles, even with nearly 10 years experience. It was the best thing I ever did and really accelerated my career. I became a CIPS lecturer in 2016 with a qualified mentor supporting me, then a year later, I completed a masters in Teaching and Academic practice, making me fully qualified to teach. With all this combined, my aim is to help the student CIPS community to achieve their goals.
