Homo Sapiens has been trying to PERSUADE his peers for eons. It all started a few tens of thousands years ago when a tribe member found it was more effective to trade his corn --he loved growing corn-- for a basket --she loved weaving baskets--, than having to grow corn AND to weave baskets. The whole persuasion exercise consisted in agreeing about how many ears of corn you could get for one basket.
Today we all try to PERSUADE more customers that our products are worth the price, the selling and negotiation exercise remains similar! Yet even though marketing brought the illusion that we could rationalize and optimize sales, no scientific and simple model of the act of selling or persuading has been available... until the Persuasion Code was published!
