Meet Nishant Malhotra, "The Quintessential Dude," who enables social change and impact globally through his startup. Nishant is the Solo Founder & CEO of the for-profit social impact global venture Middle Road OPC Pvt Ltd. The middle Road's thought leader platform is integrating various actors within the international development sector for a universal good with measurable impact. The platform primarily caters to Millennials, Gen Z, and Social Change Leaders through its various offerings. Loosely Inspired by the seventeen United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, the platform's mission is to educate and promote knowledge ideas and enable sustainable change through synergistic themes on finance & economics, science & technology, art & culture, fitness, and wellbeing. The startup works under the revolving umbrella theme of equitable education as the central tenet across all facets of its work. Startup Pill ranked The middle Road among the top 15 Global Civic Tech startup's in 2020.Nishant wants to make his startup a global leader in Media and EdTech, working on the confluence between the two forms of channels for furthering education and wellbeing. His startup also offers consulting, advisory, and other business services. The middle Road site shares scholarly research-focused e-publications, articles, videos, and podcasts with leading social change leaders with creatively melted online learning courses. The applied learning educational videos cover diverse topics that range from finance & economics, sustainable finance, statistics, impact evaluation, and much more. In March 2022, the startup's platform moved into a subscription-based model. To date, all content is accessible on the startup's site. As a one-person company and employee, Nishant single-handedly built his company from scratch through a rigorous pedagogy and flair of interweaving Media and EdTech for a synergistic outcome. Nishant won the Indian Achiever's Award 2021 from the Indian Achiever's Forum to contribute to the social impact sector.Before his present avatar, Nishant wore many hats and worked extensively in the financial services sector. Multifaceted and well educated, he has a master's degree in public administration from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and MBAs from China Europe International Business School, Shanghai, China, and Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune, India. He has a B.E. degree from VIT, Pune University. A prolific social enabler and fitness enthusiast, Nishant is catalyzing a continuous change within the global ecosystem.
