Dr. Monica Clem

Talent is distributed equally among all people, but opportunity is not - I work to change that. I develop and lead strategic initiatives in career services and education, and after more than a decade in higher education administration, teaching, and student services, I recently transitioned into nonprofit leadership. I am especially focused on educational equity and first-generation student success, and believe deeply in the power of education to create opportunities and facilitate social equity - these are the core principles that guide my work. I am also deeply interested in how organizations learn and how leaders manage change and strategic operations to transform vision into action, and actively work to strengthen and activate these skills in my own leadership practice.
