Hi there!My name is Lynn Fisher and I am a Certified Executive Leadership Coach and teacher. A longing for a different challenge and a change of scenery, I shifted from my teaching career to Executive and Leadership Coaching after noticing a gap in leadership skills throughout the years. After having experienced the effects of several emergent leaders myself, there is a pattern of noticeable lack in awareness and support in "how to be" as a leader. So-called soft skills are often over-looked in favour of technical training, yet the impact on staff morale and productivity is significant. Through coaching, I quickly noticed this new leader phenomenon, where one struggles shifting from a do-er to a leader, is pervasive across all sectors and industries, as leadership coaching tends to be reserved for established leaders, available only to individuals who've already reached certain ranks.
