As a seasoned data scientist with a wealth of experience in growing products from zero to millions of active users, I bring a unique perspective to my role as a data science instructor. With a background in seed stage tech startups and extensive experience at a major bank, where I led the development of AI-powered recruitment tools, and Spotify, where I built internal integrity products to keep our users safe, I am well-versed in the intricacies of data science and product development. My current role as a lead data scientist at Instagram (Meta) has provided me with even more opportunities to develop and grow products in the creator monetization and blockchain spaces.With over 500 students taught since 2019, I have a proven track record of successfully teaching and mentoring students in the field of data science. My hands-on approach, combined with my real-world experience, makes me the ideal instructor for students looking to learn from a seasoned professional and gain valuable insights into the industry.I understand that learning data science can be a daunting task, especially for those who are new to the field. That's why I want to share with you my own journey in learning the course content. Like many of you, I had to teach myself several concepts of data science and product development. I spent countless hours reading books, experimenting with different tools and techniques, and learning from others in the industry in companies such as Spotify and Meta. I know that the process of learning can be frustrating and time-consuming, but I also know that it's worth it. I want to provide you with the knowledge and guidance that I wish I had when I was starting out.
