I’m passionate about helping people solve problems and improve their skills in design and publishing software. I work hard to maintain a broad, up-to-date skill set in a wide-range of software, including Adobe InDesign, InCopy, Adobe XD, Adobe Dimension, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Lightroom, as well as Acrobat, Bluebeam Extreme, and in5. I’m an Adobe Certified Instructor, Adobe Certified Expert, and in5 Certified Professional. My background is an unusual mashup of computer science and graphic design. I particularly enjoy the “gnarly bits” of publishing, troubleshooting, and workflow automation. I've been doing this a long time—since 1985! I’m a contributing writer to several publications and blogs, an Adobe Press, CreativePro, and LinkedIn Learning author, and a frequent presenter and speaker at design industry events.
