I worked with data analytics, operations, and customer experience management. I was promoted to a series of management positions over 12 years at the company, gradually becoming a Chief Operations Officer.My path changed in 2013 with a then-seemingly minor decision: I took the initiative to teach business classes at a nearby local college.At first, I stumbled upon this opportunity as a way to supplement my income, but little did I know it would change the trajectory of my career path.Within the first three semesters of teaching, I realized that nothing brought me more fulfillment than guiding students to becoming leaders, and teaching them the tools needed to win in their field.So much so that I left my well-paying COO job to pursue teaching full-time at the college level. As a college educator, I teach management, operations, applied statistics, and strategy courses. I’ve won 8 distinguished teaching awards, published 2 books & 12 papers in peer-reviewed journals, conducted 30 expert media interviews, and have been cited in other research publications over 500 times.In 2015, I then had the opportunity to work on contract part-time with the Jack Welch Management Institute for 7 years. This experience at JWMI dialed in my data-driven management skills as I worked with and trained hundreds of Fortune 500 managers on how their organizations can excel in operational excellence, strategy, analytics, and continuous improvement.Now equipped with 21 years of experience in business, education, and coaching, I still teach in college and started a consultancy where I can share my experiences at scale.As Founder of Paramount Strategy Firm, I show leaders how they can apply data-driven insights to increase productivity, create efficiencies, build winning teams, and achieve operational excellence.
