About Instructor

Joe Ramm entered the world of computers at the young age of 8 when he would spend hours copying BASIC code from Compute magazine into his Commodore 64. He was hired at a high school to work as a Desktop Support Tech. One year later, he received his CompTIA A+ certification and was promoted to Lead Technician. Later, Joe returned to the school as a Computer Repair teacher, teaching the A+ certification to 9th and 10th graders. Joe implemented Total Seminars’ training materials and even got Mike Meyers to come to the school to speak to the students! Joe's technicial knowledge, coupled with his charisma and acting training, quickly earned him dozens of testimonials from students as they called him their "favorite teacher ever." After teaching for about 7 years, Joe implemented the CompTIA Network+ certification. He earned his credentials and revised his program so that students could qualify for both certifications after only 2 years of high school! In 2015, Joe earned his Master's in Educational Leadership where he got into the instructional design. He soon was the contract designer for the school, creating instructional videos on Blackboard and Canvas.
