Dr Ian Messenger

Dr. Messenger received his doctorate in International Criminal Justice from the University of Portsmouth (United Kingdom) in 2013, his Master of Science (MSc) in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Edinburgh in 2007, and his Honours Master of Arts (MA) in Social Policy and Politics from the University of Edinburgh in 2006. He is a former UK law enforcement officer specializing in Financial Crime investigations.Dr. Messenger is the founder of TWELVE Education, home of the TWELVE Financial Crime Program. He is a certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), Certified Financial Crime Specialist (CFCS), and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), a Certified Global Sanctions Specialist (CGSS), and a Certified Advanced AML Risk Management Specialist (CAMS-RM).
