Hamid Qureshi

I am a data professional with 20 years of experience architecting, designing, and leading the deployment of many data warehouses, data analytics, and business intelligence solutions. During my career, I have acquired substantial experience and qualifications with various data analytics systems, including Teradata, Oracle, Hadoop, and modern cloud-based tools like Snowflake. I am currently in the role of a senior data architect and an enterprise architect. Despite the architecture hat, I am very much hands-on, and that is how I have designed my courses and books, a mixture of theory interlaced with hands-on exercise to re-enforce the learning.Speaking of books, I have authored two books on Snowflake. The first one of these books is the Snowflake cookbook, published almost 2 years ago and has proven to be a great success. The second book is the SnowPro Core certification study guide to assist students with attaining SnowPro Core certification. I am passionate about technology solutions for data warehouses, data lakes, and data lake houses. My goal is to assist & guide every data professional to fully understand the wonderful world of data and its associated concepts and enable them to design efficient and large-scale data analytics solutions.
