Dr. Avril Salter

Dr. Salter is a knowledgeable, insightful, and enthusiastic network specialist with over 20 years of experience. She has extensive hands-on industry experience and has held senior positions at IBM, Intel, Microsoft, Motorola, and Sprint. She is also familiar with international variances as she has worked extensively in Europe, North America, Asia, and the South Pacific.Dr. Salter is a world renowned public speaker and technical trainer. She has taught both HP and Cisco network certification courses. Her specializations include Wireshark analysis, Wi-Fi networks, 4G and 5G mobile networks, network security, and IoT wireless protocols.   Dr. Salter’s works have been published by HP Press, IEEE, Encyclopedia of Telecommunications, as well as several leading network communications publications. She has presented at led conferences including RSA, IEEE GlobalComm, WinHec, HP Discover, and TechMentor.    Dr. Salter received her Ph.D. in Engineering from the University of Reading, UK. Her industry certifications include CCS-Ecore, CCS-EWD, CCS-EWI, CWNE #350, CWICP.
