Hi!I am Dimitris Karakostis and I am a Geospatial professional .I have received my MSc in Geoinformatics from the technical University of Berlin in 2013, and since then I have been working in the fascinating field of geospatial.For the last 10 years I’ve been working in a variety domains of geospatial technologies such as developing interactive applications and maps, analysing data, creating maps, managing geodatabases  and other fun geospatial activities.From 2016 till 2024, I worked in the United Nations providing GIS support and leading GIS teams in the humanitarian context.Throughout my experience in the humanitarian context, I have applied GIS and Remote Sesning in numerous ways providing support and knowledge in some of the biggest humanitarian operations in the world such as the one in Syria and the broader Middle East.
